Nutrition

As a nutritionist, I have always been fascinated about food and its impact on the body. What are the benefits of eating good food? The obvious is good food is important. It is about nourishing and bathing the cells of the body so the device is fed and taken care of.

If you are considering changing your eating habits, I also suggest you change your perspective along with a good helping of broccoli and carrots. As you proceed through this website, you will learn that nourishing the cells of the body goes far beyond the food that you eat; it encompasses your thoughts. Your body processes, digests and metabolizes your thoughts the same way it does food. You already know what it feels like when food is just sitting there, you feel bloated and uncomfortable. Guess what? Something very similar happens with your thoughts. The difference is the unprocessed information manifests into a health issue such as cold, congestion, or heart burn. What if ‘acid reflux’ were about something else rather than food or something being wrong with your body? What if it were information you are suppressing rather than voicing? What if the difficulty you have to lose weight is not about food at all?

What if you were to consider health beyond nutrition and heredity? Where are you feeling nourished and where are you starving yourself to the point of malnutrition?

Through out my studies with the WEL-Systems Institute® I often heard, “It’s never about what it’s about.” Meaning it is never about the cold that is presenting, it is about something else. What I suggest is you look beyond the food that you are putting in your mouth and consider your life and environment instead. I am not only speaking about the air that you breathe, I am talking about your home life, work, and interactions with your friends.

Give yourself credit, you already know: fruit and vegetables are good for you, carbohydrates slow down the body, water, and exercise is beneficial, deep fried foods, alcohol, and cigarettes should be avoided. Therefore, do you really need to be having a conversation with me only about food?

As much as I’d like you to have conversations about nutrition, my nutritional conversations are broad, expansive, and go well beyond conversations about food.
I am happy to share food thoughts with you and offer fun new recipes because I still believe that good food is still good. However, I know that it goes far beyond the food conversation.

Therefore, instead of nutritional consulting, I suggest an expansive coaching session which will truly nourish the cells of your body even before you reach for a raw carrot. 

Life is meant to be fun and exciting. Allow your self to play and explore what nutrition is really about. You may even enjoy eating healthy once you hear something very different.

Come in and explore a different view of the world together, and see where you might end up in your journey!

Looking forward to an expansive conversation about Health Beyond Nutrition.
